Trinity Hills Baptist Church began as a strategic dream of First Baptist Church of Benbrook in 1984. As the city was growing rapidly, the membership of First Baptist, then the only Southern Baptist Church in the city, recognized the need for another church to help meet the needs of the growing community. On November 28, 1984, First Baptist made a down payment on a 5-acre lot atop a hill overlooking west Benbrook.

Originally named the West Benbrook Baptist Mission, efforts began to establish a core group under the leadership of Mike Williams, ordained as pastor in 1987. A group of six adults met that first Sunday, August 3, 1987. Until the completion of the original church building in October of 1990, the congregation met in homes, daycares, and even the Westpark Elementary School. As the church continued to grow from these six original members, it would call its second pastor, Larry Sanders, in 1996 and launch an expansion project on the original church building. This project was completed and dedicated in May of 2000. Since then, the church continued to grow under Pastor Sanders, who led the church in discipleship initiatives and mission endeavors until his retirement in 2021.

In October of 2023, Allen Bramlett was installed as the third pastor of Trinity Hills Baptist Church. As the church sets its eyes on the future and how the Lord will lead, we invite you to become a part of this heritage.
