Morning Worship

Worship is the revelation of God and our response to His revelation. It is our desire each time we meet for corporate worship to ask our God to reveal Himself to us through His Spirit and His Word, and to respond to Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Ephesians 5:18-21 (NIV) encourages us to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Colossians 3:16-17 (NIV) exhorts us to let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

We desire to sing what we believe and to believe what we sing, using the hearts songs of our people from hymns to choruses to Southern Gospel.  Our music is led by our praise band and a variety of praise teams, including our choir, men’s ensemble, and youth.  The music supports the proclamation of the Word of God and seeks to give our church family a voice to respond to the greatness, holiness, mercy, grace, and love of our Lord and Savior.

We invite you to worship with us, for He alone is worthy.

Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!  (Revelation 5:12-13)
