COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus is telling us that God’s forgiveness, heaven and eternal life is only through belief in Him as Lord and Savior – there is no plan “B”. Despite what people think, say or do, their lives are eternally impacted by their rejection or acceptance of His claim. That is why Jesus charges us to share the gospel.
Serving others in our community and sharing Christ’s love through various projects, such as: Revive Texas, and Who’s Your One? encourages the church to tell others of Christ’s saving faith.
Samaritan House Supper Club – Our church prepares and serves the evening meal on the fifth Fridays during the year to the single residents of the Samaritan House – an assisted living facility for HIV positive adults. The next Supper Club will be on Friday, March 29, 2024. Volunteers will meet at the church at 4:00 PM.
Life Gate Ministries – Our church is actively involved in serving the homeless people of downtown Fort Worth by providing food, clothing, hygiene items, and spiritual support. Activities are primarily conducted each Saturday morning throughout the year.
A Local Apartment ministry and sponsoring a Good News Club (a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship) at Western Hills Elementary School in Fort Worth has brought the blessing of reaching into the lives and families in our community. We have had the opportunity of getting to know the families and share in their prayer concerns. What a blessing it is to have the chance to get to know them and what concerns them.
Prayer Walks on local neighborhood streets to pray for the families in our community are done to support them and show the love of Christ. All Prayer Walks include an invitation left with the residents inviting them to Trinity Hills.
Hilltop Crafters serve others by making sewing projects for nursing homes, Fort Worth ISD and others. Many projects have provided others to give of their time and talents in serving God. The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Trinity Hills at 1:30 PM.
