A simple Acts 1:8 reaching strategy is the formation for all our mission efforts. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Our Jerusalem is the Benbrook and Fort Worth area. Minsitries we are a part of locally, are two prison ministries – men’s deiscipleship studies at Hutchenson Reformatory, and the women’s prison ministry at the Johnson County Women’s Facility.

Currently we are teaching E.S.L. Classes to two refugee groups from SouthEast Asia, along with apartment ministries targeted at reaching children and their families in the southwest part of Fort Worth.

Our church plays a major part in the ongoing work of Lifegate Ministries – a twleve year effort to care for the homeless in Tarrant County. This ministry includes weekly feeding of warm meals, distrubuting clothes, and helping rehabilitate those desiring to get off the streets. We also work in conjunction with Union Gospel Mission (homeless shelter), and provide all the sugar for the thousands of meals they prepare annually.

Our Judea and Samaria is the Southwest Region of the states. We are re-establishing connections with the churches in the southern part of the Navajo Reservation outside of Grants, New Mexico. Vacation Bible School and a number of caretaking opportunities to those isolated out on the reservation, are the more tyical ministry opportunities we have a chance to be involved in.

Internationally, we are privileged to have been a part of sending out young famiilies from our church on the international fields of ministry. We are supporting one family in China, one family in SouthEast Asia, (both these are supported by major mission sending groups) and a music ministry in Brazil. This past summer, we sent one of our ministry students in the church to Peru. All of these areas will hopefully provide opportunities for mission trip experiences for our congregation in the next three to five years. We are curently in a partnership with Calvary Baptist Church in Saltillo, Mexico. This partnership has provided us with evangelistic ministries to youth and families through different events.
